Mortgage Services
First Time Buyers
Buying your first home is a huge milestone, exciting but often a little overwhelming if you’re not sure where to begin. That’s where we come in!
At Brewood Mortgages, we specialise in a wide range of mortgages, from first-time buyers to across the UK, guiding you from those very first questions right through to picking up your keys.

Whether you want to know how much you could borrow, what deposit you’ll need, or which government schemes might be available, we’ll make the process clear and straightforward, supporting you at every step.
Home movers
At Brewood Mortgages, we believe your home-moving journey should be guided by simplicity, choice and expert advice. Whether you’re selling for the first time or have moved home many times before, our service is tailored to your needs at every stage.

We know there’s a lot to consider before committing to sell your home and move forward; that’s why we’re here to support you every step of the way.

With mortgage criteria constantly changing and with it often being some time since you last reviewed your options, it’s important to seek advice early. Our role is to ensure you’re in the strongest position possible, ready to move confidently once you receive an offer on your property and are prepared to make an offer on your new home.
Remortgages
Could you save money by switching your mortgage?
If your current mortgage deal is coming to an end, now is the perfect time to review your options. Even if your monthly payments have reduced, it’s important to check whether your deal still suits your needs and long-term goals.

If you’ve owned your home for a number of years and seen its value rise, you might also want to explore raising additional funds for home improvements, debt consolidation, or other plans.

When reviewing your mortgage, it’s not just about the interest rate. Other factors such as lender fees, the right mortgage term and choosing the type of mortgage that best fits your objectives all play a vital role.

At Brewood Mortgages, we have access to a wide panel of lenders, including exclusive deals you won’t find on the high street. Our advisers will compare your existing deal against what’s available and recommend the most suitable way forward for you.

Most importantly, we’ll provide support every step of the way, from your initial application right through to completion.
Buy-To-Let
We know that buying a property to let requires specialist knowledge and tailored advice. At Brewood Mortgages, we believe your journey should be guided by simplicity, choice and expertise.

Whether you’re exploring buy-to-let for the very first time or you’re an experienced landlord expanding your portfolio, we’ll provide the right advice and guidance to help you make confident decisions.

The Process
1. Initial Call
I call it a ‘discovery call’, an opportunity for me to introduce myself, gather some key information and better understand your goals and usually takes less than 15 minutes.
3. Advice
The next step is for me to recommend a lender or provider, along with a product tailored to your needs. I’ll guide you through a personalised mortgage illustration, clearly explaining what everything means.
If you’re happy with the recommendation, we’ll move forward with securing your mortgage. I’ll manage the full application process with the lender or provider, keeping in regular contact with both you and them to ensure you’re always updated on progress.

Every lender has their own requirements and criteria. Knowing what each one expects and which documents are most important allows me to make the process as smooth as possible.
I’ll handle the details on your behalf and work closely with the lender to secure your mortgage offer.
2. Fact Find
This is a longer meeting, usually around an hour and it’s completely free of charge. During the session, I’ll walk you through how I work, including my fees and the level of service you can expect, while also gathering more details about your circumstances.
By the end of the meeting, you’ll have all the information you need to decide whether you’d like me to provide mortgage advice and I’ll have everything I need to do so.
4. Support
The support doesn’t stop once your mortgage offer is approved. We’ll stay in close contact with both you and your solicitor right through to completion, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

I'll also review your insurance and protection needs. While some policies are required by your lender, there are many additional options available — and we’ll guide you through the choices to make sure you’re fully protected.

Even after you’ve moved in, we’ll continue to look after you with regular reviews of your mortgage and protection products throughout the lifetime of your loan.
